My favorite gift has been certificates from local coffee shops- I try to get half donated and purchase the other half. I try to stay away from candles/smelly as we have quite a few men that teach. Candy goes over HUGE- we make little treat bags with a tag on the top saying thank you or something fun and attach it to a clear treat bag with m&m or jelly beans etc.
Keep your eyes open at those "mark down" type stores. My VP last year ran across a votive with 4 candles in a gift box for $1.00 each. Cannot beat something like that with a stick!
My thoughts would be as follows: A pretty, smelly candle wrapped with a bow, some buuble bath, some specialty cocoa mix, or a Starbucks type coupon for a free latte.
You could purchase some nice little mugs and make a tea mix and attached the recipe to it and curling ribbon. I have a recipe for the tea mix, lemonade, instant tea, cinnamon. if you want it let me know.
Let me have your ideas on gifts for teacher and staff members. Also, websites to order these items suggested. Oh, our PTO needs to purchase 43 items approx. $2.00-$3.00 each.
