In our school district, many first and second year teachers were advised this week that they most likely will not have jobs next year. Morale is very low. Our PTO wanted to do something and came up with the following:
"Through Thick and Thin . . . We appreciate you, we thank you, we care about you!" The PTO will be serving "thick and thin" crust pizza in the teachers lounge on Monday. We hope you will stop by.
We hope this will lift their spirits for a little while and let the teachers know they are supported.
