Making my school safer

17 years 2 months ago #131971 by lnj1971
I'm not talking about bullet proof glass and security doors here (although THAT has been a big duiscussion lately) I'm talking about getting some of those toxic cleaners away from my kids! Once I started "going green" in my home and switched to all-natural cleansers, I started to wonder about my son's school environment: is there a way to get the school to stop using toxic, harmful harsh chemicals where my kid, eats, plays and spends 1100 hours each year? I think the answer is YES! Take a look at this site:

I've gotten a few other PTO members to view the free online presentations about how dangerous some of those industrial cleaners can be, and we are planning on bringing this to our school board.
