Yeah -- need to second Critter's message. You've got to look at our Finance Manager software. It's made expressly for parent group treasurer's and: 1) will make your life very easy; and 2) (sometimes overlooked) will make the transition between you and then future 9and so) treasurers very, very easy and efficient.

No woirrying about having the right version of Quicken or training the new treasurer on Quicken. Plus all of your leaders can look-in to your books (password-protected, look-only access) at any time from any Internet-connected computer.

I am treasurer and we use Quickbooks. I think it is really, really easy. We do run our PTO like a business, so this works really well for us.
