I am not sure what you mean by "volunteer hours" any one gives at our school is considered a volunteer hour no matter where they are giving their time. It could be the library, nurses office, a pto event, a chaperone on a field trip, helping at a class party, reading to a child, being a guest speaker,a chaperone for a sporting event, etc. These are all volunteer hours and should be considered if you truly want a total look of volunteer hours at your school. Our volunteer log in sheet has a spot for volunteer location and I do log it by location just for reference but all hours count for our school hour goal!

Ok I am trying to figure this out but I cannot figure out how to add in volunteer hours. Do they have to be directly connected to an event or can you add in hours that have been done say in a classroom that someone turned in? Where do I find info about volunteer hours?
