I found the hotel. Is there a group code? Also, what is the cost of the conference? I'm going to ask our group to pay for the conference and I will take care of my own travel/hotel. I just need a price.
Info for anyone flying from or near Las Vegas, NV:
Air Fare: starts at $157 round trip - non-stop flights begin at $183 (very cool... I thought it would be about $100 more minimum...lol)
Marriot Rooms: starts at $79 (up to 3 adults) and they have one for $89 that covers breakfast buffet for two at Stixx (oh yeah, that's me...lol)
Rental Cars: I didn't look too long at this because you have to rent it out of Oakland (the closest airport - 22 miles from San Ramon Marriot), but it seems kind of expensive. I'm hoping to find another way. Any ideas?
Tim, Where are the accomodations and travel situations being made for us in San Ramon? I looked on a map and it is not as close to San Francisco or Oakland as I thought. I am planning to fly in from Las Vegas or Phoenix and am trying to figure out how to get into San Ramon without taking a taxi from Oakland or SFO.
Is anyone on these boards planning to attend? Maybe we can get 3 or 4 of us in around the same time and share a taxi or rent a car, etc. Any ideas anyone?
