I appreciate your response. You are right I would rather attend a good conference than one that is 1/2 the effort and funding.

You both have a case and we hear ya. West Coast and Southeast are definitely the two most glaring uncovered spots in our conference coverage. We're hoping to change that.

Now for the excuse: we're a relatively small staff and you'd be amazed at how much work goes into even one conference. It's been a philosophy of ours to make sure that we can handle the events we do schedule really well, rather than overextending and letting the quality suffer. By growing carefully, we can ensure that when we do get your neck of the woods, we'll put on a great event.

In the meantime, if you fly to one of our events from more than 4 states away, let me know. I'll make sure you get some special treatment.
