I can't believe I was able to attend and be part of such an incredibly awesome event. It was exciting to find out PTO Today was coming to my neck of the woods!!

Our PTO group just thought we knew what we were doing...boy, do we have a lot of work to do now! The sessions were interesting and offered timely information, but they sure could have been longer. Trying to cram tons of information into roughly an hour sometimes was almost impossible.

Heather...I'm glad you got to get out and soak up some of our Texas sunshine.

Please don't have it on Valentine's Day again!!

Love the PTO Today staff/family...ya'll are sensational!!

Do keep in mind that you end up with armfuls of stuff. You may not want to be weighed down too much with your own copies. So you might want keep a few select items with you and leave the rest of your own samples in the car or in your room and just get them out if you find you want to share them.

The lunch sessions are the some of best times for real networking so really take advantage of that opportunity to find out what others are doing. At one lunch table we had two people from the same school who pretty much kept a one-on-one conversation going between the two of them. Their choice, of course, but it seemed to me they really missed out. The rest of us at the table had a great time interacting and sharing info.

If anyone is about to bid out for school supply kits, you might want to bring your supply lists and contact info, saving yourself some time faxing later. There were easily 4 or 5 companies offering that product/service. I think they'd have all been quite happy to have taken the info and followed up with a quote later.

Have a great time!

Excellent ideas. I would not have thought to bring sample forms along.

I'll start warming up the copy machine for Chicago!!!

No doubt about it, JHB knows her stuff. One more thing to do prior to attending a show...Print off on address return labels your Name, School Name, Phone # home or school, address home or school and email address. Some prefer their home address some prefer schools address. This saved us a lot of time signing up for all the great give-aways! This information also provided the most pertinant info that the vendors requested in order to follow up with you later Slap that sticker on the form and talk, talk, talk. Have a great time!
