The first one was last year in Massachusetts and I attended (from Texas). It was a big decision as this was not something I felt I could ask our PTO to pay for. (Actually, they ended up volunteering to pay for part of it.)
It was absolutely worth it! The break out sessions were very good and the exhibit area had a lot to offer. The only area I was a bit disappointed with was that there weren't really many opportunities to network with each other. But that's not a complaint - there are only so many things you can schedule in a one-day event.
This is my last year as president, and I just couldn't personally justify the expense to travel that far a second time. But if it were anywhere within driving range - I would definitely go again.
I just wondered if anyone has been to one of the shows. I am thinking of going to the show in my area and was just looking for some feedback.
