Actually our treasuer is a signer on our checks, she is the one that pays the bills! We do have the bank statements come to me and I pass them on to her and we also require a financial report each month as well.

Karen--most regular posters here would say not just "no" but in fact they should not be a signatory. You want to have some oversight as to what checks are being written and to whom so it is best to either have a 2 person rule (Treasurer and someone else) or as we do, no signature authority for the treasurer -- leave that to the Pres and VP so you know what the outflow of cash is....d
