How do you contact your teacher?

All of our teachers have a yahoo email address so they can IM each other throughout the day (for school related issues only, I'm sure :D ).
Some share the address with parents and some don't. All have voice mail so parents can leave a message.

Email here--the principal makes it mandatory that the teachers check email at least once a day!...thanks goodness since some folks still reject that "new fangled thing"...d

all of our teachers have email. and they check it daily it seems, some even on the weekend.

i have NEVER had to leave a msg at front desk for a teahcer(we dont have voice mail for teachers, i agree, that is cumbersome to play telephone tag).

Just curious--does your school have voice mail for your teachers or are they good about answering their e-mail? It drives me nuts to try and get a simple question answered at our school because you have to leave a message in the office and then they call you back and you're not there, etc. I know one local school system has voice mail for every teacher and I was wondering how common that was. Only a few teachers seem to actually use their e-mail, although they all have it. Just curious-- Anyone?
