Our principal last year retired. And our PTO with out teachers got together and did a luncheon in his honor that was wonderful. It was a bit nicer then our usual luncheons. We had pics of him through his years of teaching and so on. And then we had all pitched in (the PTo and teachers) and bought him a set of golf clubs!
Needless to say he loved it. We also, had each grade level make a scrapbook page for him, then we assemble it and gave that to him also! Hope it goes well!!

We too have a principal retiring. I have thought about doing a small luncheon. But not sure how she would feel about that. What have people done in the past??

Sadly, our principal of seven years is retiring this year. We're looking for ideas on how to honor her committment to excellence. Any ideas?
