Class sizes

My daughter has 22 kids in her basic skills math class, 6th grade. Far to many in my opinion.

As in corporate america, the easiest way for administration to reduce overhead is to reduce headcount. Goodness forbid we look at reducing administration head count or...dare I say it...salaries. Most of them aren 't worth half of what they are paid

Again, in my opinion.

Public schools in Texas have a limit of 22 to 1 ratio for pre k thru 4th grade. Any deviation from that requires a public hearing at the school district level and an approved waiver from the TEA. 5th thru 12th grade is a free-for-all.

How many students does your school have, how many classrooms and what is the average class size? And do you have aides in the class in addition to the teachers daily?
