I have recently become invovled with a school PTO that has been run in house for the last few years. This past year they developed By-Laws and implemented them into practice and supposedly turned this PTO over to the parents to be run. However, the Executive Board consists of all school employess except for one parent. Is it standard practice for employees/teachers to hold officer seats when they also have a child in the school?
