Our PTO hosted a "meet and greet" reception for our new principal in June. We invited all staff, PTO Board Members and committee chairpersons. The PTO provided snacks and soft drinks. This gave a chance for the incoming principal to meet everyone in an informal setting prior to starting in her new position in September.
I'm sure many other schools have gone through this so I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on welcoming a new principal to our school? We plan on going in together to introduce ourselves to her but I'm thinking we should do something for her.
