You two are so sweet--your teachers better appreciate you! I can't think of anything I'd like to give our teachers other than a motivating kick in the as$!
I know I saw cute things for teachers somehere that would fit in this vein--when I track it down I'll post it!
I thought about ordering canvas tote bags from oriental trading and putting together a "Survival Kit". It could have one of those stress reliever apples in it, goodies, pencils, paper, glue, rulers, crayons; just about anything inexpensive would be okay. I thought it might be nice to put things in it that follow along with their class supply list so that they have a few extra to loan or to give to students who can't afford the stuff right away.
I thought it would be a sweet idea to get each teacher a welcome back basket to have on their desk the week they start back to school. Some little sweets and drink mixes maybe to brighten their days before the kiddos get there. I've thought of teas, cocoas, colas, and candies. Any other thoughts on what I could include in them. I don't want to get carried away with cost, just want them to know we appreciate them.
