Are you sure there was a luncheon and the parent heard exactly what she said she heard? Perhaps it was something else entirely?

When I was PTO prez we had several volunteers that weren't members but I or another PTO person would get there.

Today at noon is the volunteer appreciation luncheon.
Guess who never got an invitation, yep the PTO.

the Prinicpal never mentioned it to me yesterday when she saw me in the office. I learned second hand from another parent who overheard her in the office talking to the secretary about it.

this just really rubs me the wrong way, I have to say I feel this to be intentional. Who else puts in the volunteer work that the PTO does?
