I received the 100 survival tips/special gifts for teachers/volunteers from dcd and I think we are going to try this. We went and bought small/med. terra cotta pots and painted them red and put the items in them for the teachers. rubber bands, paperclips, along with the poem from dcd. We are going to give each teacher one of the terra cotta pots with the items in them when we have a back to school teacher breakfast, hopefully during their first week back to school before the kids go back. This way the teachers can put the pots on their desks and use them for whatever they need them for and always be reminded how much they are appreciated by the pto. Let me know if anyone else has any other ideas.
