Wasn't there officers elected to your new PTO? Can you contact them?, What about your school principal, he/she may have some input for you?

Didn't you have bylaws when you formed the group, what about your standingswith the IRS? Track down the paper trail for answers and good luck.

Our PTO board has been raising money all year, but has made no further effort to communicate with its members. We have had no meetings, no vote on by-laws (we are a newly formed PTO), seen no budget or financial report. Our school calendar has had meetings scheduled, but they have all been cancelled so far. No one knows what is going on. Parents and teachers alike are unhappy. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
