With no bylaws in place and no use of Roberts Rules, what exactly is the president's role,and that of VP for that matter, and who decides?
I have been told by the pres that SHE makes the decisions about what we are doing this year and how we are doing it and my role is to do what she says and nothing more. So if she doesn't want a bylaw committee, if she doesn't want a budget, if she doesn't want to hold elections,if she doesn't want an agenda for meetings, if she doesn't want to let people know about meetings and important topics, it isn't going to happen. She is the president and we are going to do things her way and if I disagree, I am welcome to quit.
