other PTO board members

You could have a board meeting and confront her with the problem. She's probably going to feel ganged up on though. You could also just have a couple of board members approach her. It's good to have two people so nothing can be misconstrued and she can't claim miscommunication later or twist your words around. It's a good idea to have in mind what behaviors you want her to change and what you need her to do instead. Just be clear about the role she is to play and what her duties are. You might also consider getting the principal involved if that seems appropriate and if you think it will be effective. If the behavior is really bad or get worse later, you can always vote to have her step down. The important thing is to have a consensus on this among board members and confront her now rather than later before the problem gets out of hand. Good luck!

Hello I would like some advice PLEASE!!! We have our board members that consist of the prez, VP, Sec, Treas and an Events Coord. The purpose of the EC to help put together fundrasiers and events. Since this position was put into effect she has been overbearing. At times we thought everything was OK but I think now with a new board this year things are haywire and we have figured out that it is the EC causing grief. Is there any advice on how to handle the poor me attitude if we approach her? the nobody likes my way/me? We are fed up. any adivce is great.
