You definately need by-laws, trust me!! After what my PTO has gone through this school year, by-laws are a definate MUST! We are in the proces of creating new, up-to-date ones ourselves, otherwise I would send you our by-laws! They are so out dated. I did find two old sites on PTO Today that may be some help. We are in the process of adopting by-laws for our pto. There are several people that feel we don't need them, even though we have approximately $100,000.00 going in and out of our account every year. I need to arm my co-chair with copies of other pto by-laws for a meeting! Can anyone send me copies of their by-laws? Much appreciated!
