can you be more specific of what question number/letter you are looking at. We were approved within a month of sending ours in but I dont know what section you are looking at.

The IRS isn't satisfied with our answers to Schedule D which explain our relationship to our "supported organization" (the school). Does anyone know what they want to hear? I've explained that our board consists of parent volunteers who are elected by our peers (parents of the children who attend our school), plus four School District employees (the principal, vice principal, and two teacher representatives). The IRS says that we do not meet the test of "supervised or controlled in connection with" the supported organization. I'm tearing my hair out! There must be some magic phrase that we're supposed to put in here that would make the IRS happy. Does anyone have their Schedule D (that got approved) that you can tell me the language from?
