Insurance-Liability

We switched our insurance to AIM last year through NPN. We are also in California and had been insured by a local insurance broker for years. Our costs were cut in half for better coverage with AIM. Luckily we haven't had to file any claims, but I had to call and ask some questions and they were incredibly helpful. We have had a great experience with them.

Mum24kids is accurate that AIM is a broker and not the insurance carrier. I don't believe, however, that many brokers could get the same policy offered by AIM. They specialize in working with parent groups and as a result they are able to get a much better rate in this area (apples to apples) than other brokers (and an even better rate for NPN members). Just as important, we have found they have outstanding customer service! I would contact them directly to get more information Click here to visit AIM or 800-876-4044.

It's important to understand that AIM is just the broker, not the insurance company itself (although most of your contact will be with the broker). To check out the financial condition of the insurance companies AIM offers (and I don't know how many different ones they do for PTO covereage), you can go www.ambest.com. Several different brokers can offer you the same policies that AIM offers; at that point, it's more of a customer service issue because I believe you will get the same prices from any broker for the same policy (the broker doesn't set the prices), unless you can get into a negotiated discount deal like NPN offers. I've talked with people from AIM and been very happy with them; there's also another broker offering PTO/PTA policies called RV Nuccio you could check out ( www.rvnuccio.com ).

My PTO is in CA. I realize NPN has an affiliation w/AIM as the only insurance company listed on this website. Would like to know if there's other insurance companies just as good or better? I usually do my homework and looked into BBB TX and TX DeptOfIns. Just making sure my organization applies for legit and reputable companies. Names of other insurance companies, Please?
