As I have mentioned in previous posts I am the acting President of the first (to our knolage) virtual PTO. We are affiliated with a internet grade school based in Maryland and operates in 10 states from California to Florida.
PTO Today was a great help in getting us on the right track is getting the basics set up.
Due to the fact that we actualy cross state borders though we enlisted the help of a Coprerate Lawyer to help us with Articals of incorperation and By-Laws.
I know that some of you have had questions about By Laws and rewriting your By Laws.
Though our By Laws may be over kill for a single School District or School PTO I would be more than happy to send anyone that would like to maybe use it as a refrence a copy.
I will warn you in advance our By-Laws ended up being 11 pages long!!! lol
