A good friend of mine is a member of a Parliamentarian Association. (YES, there is actually an association out there that studies Roberts Rules of Order for FUN!)

She recently learned of "The complete idiot's guide to Roberts" written by Nancy Sylvester. www.nancysylvester.com/ It just came out in March, 2004.

She personally knows Nancy (who is a professional speaker by the way), and it's a fantastic book to help you understand the RONR.

I picked up a copy of the "idiot" book last week (It's at Amazon, as well as the Big Box book stores). Around $17.

It IS a good read. It starts out by saying that RONR is the "cure all for insomnia"

Donate a copy for your PTO's files. It's really puts the importance of how Roberts cuts time at meetings by putting everything in an orderly manner.
