I know you said you don't have the time but you could serve as the interum(sp) and stress this is only until someone can be elected.
How are the vice presidents? Logically this would be a great postion to start to ask about prez BUT I don't know any more than what you are sharing.
You didn't mention nominations or new elections, is that being discussed? Also look over your by-laws again, ours were written to say which offices we need filled and which ones we can combine.

I am the prvevious President. I fulfilled my commitment and I choose not to run for re-election last May. Unfortunelty, not a soul ran for the positions. We are now in mid October and no one has elected to take on this worthy position. We have committee chairpersons running the fundraisers, which is great however when they need funds for supplies they keep coming to me for not only supplies but a sense of direction. I am happy to the enthusiam but I do not have time this year to hold the position of President. How do we get a new president for this position?
