Ask people personally if they would do the job. I had volunteered to be the vice pres and when approached personally I changed to the president. We also didn't have anyone come forward just with a ballot request. After filling my spot, other people came and said they would be interested in the other roles.

I am currently serving as one of two Co-Presidents of our elementary PTO. We hold our officer elections at our last meeting of the school year (May) for the upcoming school year. Our secretary and treasurer have agreed to stay on another year, so we only need to elect a President (or two Co-Presidents as we have the last few years). I have sent out nomination forms, but have not had any response. What should I do if no one will run for President? I hate to just "jump ship" and leave it up to the secretary and treasurer to solve. HELP!!!
