In need of Alot of help

Congratulations on taking the first step. Unlike AA (which after PTO I'm thinking I will need to become a member of LOL) there are many more than 12 steps. I am by no means the authority on the subject - have learned so much from this discussion forum that I can't begin to count those things up. I do, however, have modest bylaws and an accumulation of information I'd be happy to share - just email me and let me know what, if anything, I can send that will help. I would suggest getting a bank account set up and keeping good track of the $$$$ just to keep those who inevitably crawl out of the woodwork to question such things under control. Money seems to cause lots of problems even for not-for-profit, great service organizations such as PTO. Don't want to overstep - just trying to be helpful. Best wishes for all the success in the world. (o.k. conquer PTO first then go for the world!)

Ok i'm new to this site but I need help. I went to my first pto meeting last night and boy was I shocked and now I need help. We are in the process of redoing our Pto since the pto we have right now has 4 members,no by laws,no cash records, and any money spent is done without a vote. So if anyone can help me get this pto off the ground and get the parents involved and community. thanks
