Conflict Resolution

I'm guessing that the President and Treasure have an ax to grind against the rest of the PTO board and/or with their replacements for being moved out of the PTO?

Providing that the PTO handled the election exactly as instructed in the by-laws, no consideration to the former board members to re-visit the election results is necessary or warranted.

The school or Board of Education's authority over any PTO matters, if any, should be described in the PTO's by-laws.

A former pta president and former treasurer are contesting our recent elections on the grounds that they believe that the ballots were mishandled. The then wrote a letter to the board of directors regarding their position.

In the event that the Board decides that this is a matter that need to be rectified amongst our selves without their involvement, how do we go about this?

Now our PTA has not obtained our own EIN# and as a result have been opperating under the schools TIN# since the school was founded. What part can does the school play in this and what part does the Board of directors play as well?
