Why do you have to "shop" with your treasurer? Can't you go do the shopping and turn in your receipts for reimbursement? That is what most parent groups do I'm sure...ours does.
Is the Treasurer responsible for purchasing everything for every event? There is more than one person on the PTO checking account yet our treasurer insists that everyone else work around her schedule to make shopping trips for supplies for all of our events. This causes problems because we are not always available to go at her convience, yet she will not go alone. Just wondering how other groups handle shopping for thing such as supper with santa and movie nights.
