Okay -- I actually was able to speak to someone directly from the DOR today and received my own answer. No, PTOs do not have to file form 3M

This is a message for anyone in Massachusetts who can perhaps answer a question concerning Form 3M from the Dept of Revenue -- "Income Tax Return for Clubs and Other Organizations not Engaged in Business for Profit." I was told by the DOR that if our group had earned interest from Massachusetts banks in excess of $100 then we had to file this form. Has any other group been told the same information?

Has any other Massachusetts PTO gone thru this process? Just thought I would ask here first before I began my phone calls to the DOR!

Thanks in advance.
