Yes, insurance would be needed. Your actions could lead to an incident and then you would be personally responsible. If you are not an offical organization with insurance, the family could hold you personally responsible.

We are a group that services families with children from birth to kindergarten. We have no formal rules or policies in place, but want to start.

How do you handle liability for your groups? Is it a must that we purchase group insurance?

We just don't know where to start and would greatly appreciate your feedback!!
