All we did was apply for a new EIN number using the new PTO name and changed the bank account name. We also adapted the by-laws into the organization. The officers stayed the same. I wasn't in charge of this process so any other comments would help me too if there is something we missed.
We are considering disbanding our current PTA and becoming a PTO. Can anyone advise me or make suggestions? We are know that we want to make the change but are unsure of the procedures?
