On-Campus "Beach Day" for Teachers

At the annual teacher appreciation luncheon for the staff of Linda Vista Elementary in Mission Viejo, Calif., teachers got a day at the beach. The multipurpose room was transformed with a beach theme, using beach chairs, umbrellas, plastic palm trees, and even real sand. Beach Boys music played while volunteers served cheeseburgers, barbecue chicken, watermelon, and ice cream.
