il 22 mark the 45th annual celebration of Earth Day, the day many people consider the start of modern environmental awareness. For parent groups, it's a great opportunity to help teach kids about the value of taking care of the world around them. More and more, PTOs and PTAs are playing a key role in making their schools green, from reducing their waste to recycling to saving energy. It all adds up, and it provides valuable lessons that can last a lifetime.
