You don’t have to be a fan of college basketball to get in on the fun of March Madness. We put together our own Sweet 16 tournament bracket on something we all know a lot about: teacher appreciation.

In the game between sweet gifts and thoughtful gestures, one contender had a strong showing in every single match it played! The ultimate teacher appreciation winner: a personal gift card for the teacher, such as for Amazon, dinner out, or going to the movies.

But no need to stop there—who says appreciation can only be shown one way, one time? We have so many great suggestions to tell your school staff how awesome they are.

Thanks for playing our first March Madness tournament, and have fun with your teacher appreciation plans—no matter what you do, your teachers are sure to love it!

Round 3: The Final Four

In Round 2, school supply cake had a close win against gourmet treats with punny tags, while personal gift card trounced class photo. Lunch duty pass beat love notes from students, and theme luncheon soundly beat monthly potluck breakfasts. Which two will make it to the championship round? Cast your vote to help decide.

Round 2: The Elite Eight!

In Round 1, monthly potluck breakfasts just squeaked by teachers lounge makeover; lunch/recess duty pass only slightly beat out setting up a popcorn or trail mix bar. And it’s fair to say that not many teachers will be enjoying homemade cookies or cupcakes as it was soundly beat by gifts of gourmet treats! Cast your vote to influence which ideas will make it to the Final Four.
