"The Parent-Teacher-Community Association at Preschool at the Heights enlisted a teacher of Indian heritage to help raise funds. The teacher offered her skills as a henna artist. While their children participated in the after-school program, moms chose their design from the teacher’s thick portfolio. The application took less than half an hour per hand, and the results were fantastic. The cost was $20, with $5 going to the PTCA. Parents were inundated with compliments in the community, giving them a chance to talk up the school."
