Our school just finished this fundraiser - and we are in "yankee candle" territory being in Mass. We raised over $10K with it, our best year yet. I think it's the 3rd year we've done it. People just love these candles! We're doing Cookie Dough right now, and hoping to make just as much. I'd say go for it!

We have a local store that has approached us about selling Yankee Candles through them, giving us $5 for each candle sold.

Someone mentioned Yankee Candles being in stores...Here is another candle company that does fundraising and has a great program. Gold Canyon Candles. I have info on them for anyone that wants it, just email me. They have a wide variety and the thing that I was most impress with...they have sample kits so the person purchasing candles can smell them before buying. I thought this was great! I've never seen another company that does this. They do a 40%-50% cut on this so it's a great way to have a candle fundraiser that is new. Email me if anyone needs the info.

We do one every spring and are also going to do one right before the holidays for the first time this year. We do really well them and we have pleanty of stores here who sell them. But, people like them and know that it is a fundraiser so they buy them. We have done other candle sales in the past and did not do as well. it seems that Yankee Candles are the prefered candles by most.

We had better luck selling home interior candles. They were less expensive then yankee candles.
