Just met with my Entertainmnet Rep and found out the new stuff in the Entertainmnet Book this year. The Make a Difference Campaign is going to be big with our school. The FREE " glow in the dark " wrist bands and stickers for ever student is going to be hugh. Our book is $25 and we will most likly make $12.50 per book. My rep is giving me Free books for each teacher. Also got some extras for doing their summer educational program (palygroup equip/books that kind of thing) It did wonders last year and our parents loved it. We have tried the Kid Stuff book but it did not have the same amount (find dining, travel) that The Entertainmnet Book has. Hope this helps.

My son's old elementary school sold both kidstuff and Entertainment this past fall. For years we told our Sally Foster rep (sells Entertainment books) that her books just weren't as profitable as the Kidstuff books but in the Spring she told us Entertainment was changing. This fall they sold for $20 (five dollars cheaper then kidstuff), profit would be 50% and for every five books sold kids would get a free one.

I'm not at the school anymore but from what I heard, Kidstuff did just slightly better then Entertainment. When I mentioned that Kidstuff gave a book to each teacher, our rep said she would offer a free entertainment book to them. The deal is supposed to be that they get a book if all books are sold or returned but our teachers do that anyway so we would give them that right off. I like both of them but for different reasons.

What I love about the Kids Stuff books is if you have family in Florida, California or New York they can all purchase the books(There are different books for all different areas)have them sent to where ever and your school gets 50% profit.

I live in NJ, have family in different parts of Florida and in California. They all ordered books, I had them sent to them(It's a different price for other areas)and everyone was happy!

We had missing books at the end of our fundraiser and they didn't charge us for them. They also give 1 book per teacher as a gift for getting back all the books or the money. Our teachers didn't mind at all as long as they got the book. We did have two classes that didn't get all the books or money back but we gave the teachers books anyway and Kids Stuff was ok with that.

They were easy to work with and we'll do it again next fall.

I'm the president of a PTO at a small private school. We have a total of 230 students (PreK-8th). We just concluded our Coupon Book fundraising where we sold both the Entertainment Books and KidStuff books at the same time.

I'm going to tell you that we're not selling the Entertainment books next year! Entertainment books returns a profit of approx. 10%. This figure changes depending on the number of books sold. We sold a total of 27 books! We earned a whopping $27.00 profit!

On the other hand, KidStuff returns a profit of approx. 50% or more depending on the number of books sold! We sold a total of 152 books so we made $1900! :D This is fabulous since this is our minor fundraiser! :D

I would beware of Entertainment Books. We had tried this as a council fundraiser and due to the lack of "mules" so to speak, for the books, didn't sell very many. I sent the unsold books back along with a check.
Several months later, I got a collection letter for an attorney in Florida. I made several phone calls explaining that the remaining books had been returned and the 6 that were sold had been paid for. I spoke to someone at Entertainment books (which by the way, finding their phone # for a problem was near impossible) and they said they showed the 0 balance.
finally I spoke to another person in the attorny's office (I had by this time gotten some very nasty messages on my answering machine) and this person said they have this problem a lot with Entertainment. After several months, it has finally ended (at least I haven't heard from them in a few months anyway)
On top of that, while I have loved personally having one of these books each year, (I swore after this experience, I would never buy another book but someone gave me one) every other place we tried to use the coupons, either stopped accepting them or went out of business.
