Cookie dough

Hi MAPTOPres --

Pretty sure that's no longer true. I believe Otis has gone "in-house" with their distribution, meaning that instead of using contracted distributors like Meadow Farms, groups now work directly with Otis. I know in New England, they are using Otis employees to service schools (so you're not just on your own).

Check out their site or give 'em a call.

You can use a company like MeadowFarms to run the program for Otis, I had them for 2 years and they are great. Not sure where you are located this one is in ma.

There are many companies taking the prizes out of fundraising and offering Free cookie dough or other free products instead. We work with MC Fundraisers and they offer 1 free box of cookie dough for every 10 items a seller sells. Parents love this and so the kiddos! We have had great success with thise instead of the prizes.

I am not sure about Otis not having reps in the field. I know that they have talked to two people in my area of the country about representing them in the field. That being said, I would not expect the same service from them as a school would get from a company representing Otis. Local and regional companies almost always provide more and better service than the national companies. That is not a knock on the national companies, but local companies are just set up differently. heck, in many cases, their warehouse and offices are just across town.

And yes, I hear no prizes on future Otis cookie dough sales.
