OMG! Our new Director is a older, bald, gentleman that would probably do it too!

I use these dates for the monthly calendar. I also use some of them for fun days. Plus I would hate to miss out on celebrating our staff when everyone else is honoring theirs.

We usually honor Dr. Seuss's birthday. But did you know that Mother Goose Day was May 1. Perhaps we could get our principal to dress up like Bo Beep that day. LOL!

No biggie Phil! What we are looking at are dates outside of Christmas, Halloween, St. Patrick's Day. We are looking for when is Volunteer Week, Teacher Appreciation, Red Ribbon Week, DARE Week...etc. Sometimes you can find these on particular sites that just post this kind of fun info!

My favorite was last year I asked Admin if we could bring treats for the bus drivers to honor Bus Driver Week. They thought I was making it up!! I showed them the offical date and brought in sugar cookies that were buses, the staff still thought I was just finding an excuse to bring in treats! :D

I'm sorry, I don't understand what "calendar dates" are or what I am looking for when following the links. Pardon my ignorance.
