It figures it would be something that I know absolutely nothing about. LOL But that doesn't take much. I know just enough to get by. Thank you.

Microsoft Publisher has calendar templates already set up you can use.

The Print features you have access to in Word may be dependent on your specific printer. Depending on the printer/drivers, you'll have various options.

Select File-Print and then choose the "Properties" button. (There may be multiple tabs in the box.) Look around to see if you have a "zoom" feature where you can type in a percentage size. The default, of course, is to print at 100%.

Of course, you could always reformat the document with smaller fonts, but I suspect it's complex enough that that would take about as much time as re-creating it.

Thank you for the info. magnetstreet is what gave me the idea in the first place. :D Unfortunetly our school decided to buy a magnetic clip to put a 4 page full size calendar on it instead. That's when I decided to build one myself. I don't know if the principal will use it though. Even if she doesn't, I still have one for myself. It's already on my fridge. It caused me a lot of grief and time, but it turned out great and I think it was worth beating my head on the desk a few times. LOL If anyone is interested in a copy, just email me. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Also if anyone has any ideas on how to reduce it so it's not so big, please get ahold of me. It is in Word, and I just cant seem to get it smaller.

Hi, If you want to the whole year on one sheet, you can use letters for days off instead of the number. F=First day of school, L= Last day of school,V= Vacation/no school, P = Pto meeting,
T= parent/teacher conferences, G= Grading period ends, W= Winter break, S= Spring break. I could go on forever. Go to www.magnetstreet.com
They have all info on magnets but you can put it on a sheet of paper.

It might be a bit tedious, but you can do it. You'll want to set your calendar up first, using tables. (It will probably be easier to create it in Excel and copy it over.)

Then you'll need to create graphic symbols to use for your ledger. You'll probably want to user the drawing tool bar and get some stock shapes.

You don't need to be able to see the calendar numbers underneath, as people can figure them out pretty easily.

I'll send you a starter file.
